 not received
I have not received package even though amazon and ups says so. Supposedly it was delivered at 5:27pm on august 26, 2010 and left on my porch. It was not on my porch when I got home that evening. I spent $130.00+ on this delivery and have not been delivered my product.
 Promises, promises
My first purchase of this product a couple of years ago resulted in a fine product in a box with little help included to understand it's operation. After a few months of use, it totally failed. I stored it and went to another system. A year later, I decided to give it another chance but it was still inoperative. I spent hours and hours on the internet with the manufacturer, the re-seller and user forums trying to find a solution to the failure. I got some nice responses from forums, but the manufacturer was marginally responsive but offered no solutions or resolutions. The seller was non-responsive. The product, however, is well designed and after shopping for better applications, I had to admit that poor service and support notwithstanding, the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke & Throttle is, on balance, still the best out there, so I purchased another one. Now, time will tell if that was the right decision.
 Didn't last very long.
Had this just a tad past one year. It had problems on boot with a PC after the warranty period. Finally it died. The keypress issue was present as well.
My CH products lasted 10+ years.
All in all Saitek is a bad company. The garbage they've been putting out is laughable. This is the first and last Saitek POS I'll ever own.
 Smooth operation
Setup was very easy, controls move smoothly with no binding. Multiple programmable buttons. There are 13 buttons, hat switch, yoke, and 3 levers. You can program each for 3 different operations and switch between them using the MODE switch. All in all well worth the Price.
 Saitek Yoke and throttle quadrant
I initially had difficulty working with the Saitek yoke, but now feel that I have got pretty good control of it. However it still tends to be sticky, wich has a little negative effect on my aircraft control. The plus side is I love the clock insert, the solidness of the assembly and realism. I also really like the setup of the throttle quadrant and it works quite well, again, very realistic. Overall, I am bery happy with the complete setup and glad I purchased these items. Got them all for a great price from Amazon.
