Doesn't work with MLB 2k10 This is my first negative review.
I purchased this product specifically to go with MLB 2k10 on PC. While waiting for the new game to arrive, the controller worked with several old games. But I can't get it to interface with 2K Sports' latest game. Essentially, both are now useless to me, and I am profoundly disappointed.
The game is brand new, but already there seem to be complaints from this week appearing all over the Web from users with the same problem. Unless you hear different from someone, I would stay away from this one, unless you want to chase my bad money with your own.
Not Worth the Trouble I bought this controller instead of buying a Xbox controller to some money. Most computer games are made for the use of a xbox controller. Its a pain in the ass having to assign all the controls for all your games with this controller. Plus I havent played a game yet where it is fully compatible and rumbles.
I wanted a controller that rumbled and this doesnt do it with the games I have.
I suggest investing the extra cash towards a Xbox controller and dont waste your time with this controller if you are a picky gamer.
Good Controller, Just a little Bulky... this controller has a great feature... you don't have to charge the battery everyday... the drawback is that the controller is bulkier than most comparable controllers.... overall I would recommend this product....
Doesnt work with all games I bought this controller to use with Lost Planet and it was not compatible. It is pretty comfortable and installation of the software required me to download software.
good controller having previously owned a logitech controller, just not the "cordless" one, i pretty much knew what i was getting with this controller. On the pros side of things, the controller feels great, has plenty of buttons, basically installs itself to your computer ready to use, and works awesome for all emulation (especially ps1 and super nintendo type emulation). On the cons side of it, the battery area is kind of large and slightly obtrusive, the battery life is not something to write home about, the controller is only kind of cordless (more on that in a sec), and the buttons are slightly sticky. Note before buying any kind of controller like this that the majority of games for windows will only work with a microsoft xbox style controller for pc (if any at all). Also, the cordless part of it is not really the convenience that i thought it would be. I expected it to be a usb input like my mouse has which is about an inch long and barely juts out the side of my laptop. It actually comes with a cord, probably long enough to reach how far away i'm sitting, that has a wireless receiver thing on the end of it. this would still be a great upgrade for someone wanting to plug their computer or laptop into a tv and use that for gaming, but for someone sitting within arms reach of their laptop or desktop, the whole "cordless" part of it feels kind of pointless. Overall, the controller is awesome (very similar to ps2 or ps3 in style), assuming you have plenty of batteries and know what things it's compatible with before you buy it. if you're trying to decide between this one and another one, i would recommend not letting the cordless part of it weigh in heavily on your decision.
