 Makes you Sweat!!!
I could not put this book down. I will say that this book grabs you and does not let go. Joseph the dominant Character in this book is loving but a true Sadist, he devours every reaction from Prima upon Punishment.If you are not into BDSM then this book is not for you. This story lures you in gently and ravishes you the rest of the way. There is SEVERE, non-consensual punishment in this read, Just because he(Joseph)can. I love the emotional turmoil that engulfs Prima (the submissive slave). This book was very well written. I gasped at least twice and found myself holding my mouth at the description of her harsh punishments. No mercy. Very intense.
 Terrible
This had the promise of a good plot/story line that intrigued me into purchasing this book. The submissive erotica angle was also a draw. Sad to say I was disappointed all around. This is just page after page of physical abuse toward women ... a missed opportunity while the plot theme/idea had potential it wasn't developed at all, the characters were one dimensional and the sex sucked (no pun intended).
 Kept me thinking long after I finished
A well-written and thought provoking story about a strong, but sometimes sadistic man and the slave he buys. Both of the lead characters, Joseph and Prima, are extremely likable. Their relationship develops well throughout this story.
More hard-core than other erotica books that I have read, so if this isn't your thing, read something else.
I found myself thinking about this book long after I read it. This is the first book that I have read by this author, but will not be the last.
Texan at large
I really enjoyed this book. The story was good and the sex was hot. The main characters (Joseph and Prima) were well drawn and interesting. The futuristic setting was grim and, hopefully, not a forewarning of things to come. The bondage and S/M was a little harsh but it also was a turn on. I liked it so much that I ordered another book of this author.
